Poleg tega se uredništvo trudi predstaviti sodobne teoretske koncepte, prevajati krajše tekste (od Aristotela, Descartesa in Locka do sodobnih avtorjev) in obveščati bralce o najnovejših knjižnih objavah.

The Journal for Critique of Science, Imagination and New Anthropology

In its 35 years of continuous publishing, and in its 226 issues, the Journal for Critique of Science, Imagination and New Anthropology (Časopis za kritiko znanosti, domišljijo in novo antropologijo - ČKZ) has introduced its Slovene readership to a multitude of various social and humanistic topics. The editorial board consists of an interdisciplinary collective of scientists and researchers working in the fields of political science, philosophy, sociology, literary, cultural and postcolonial studies, as well as experts on ecology, new social movements and feminist, queer and film theory. Over the years, ČKZ has  become an indispensable part of Slovene academic life; articles published in the Journal are frequently seen as forming authorative and canonical scientific-academic literature, as well as being important publications towards academic promotion. Although ČKZ promotes academic styles of argumentation, genre and form, it also encourages a critical scientific analysis of different scientific fields, as well as critiques of dominant scientific methodologies, theories and discourses. Where neccessary, such critiques can also entail broadening the actual discursive limits to what is otherwise understood as standard academic writing, thus allowing arguments to be conducted within other styles, genres and forms of writing, i.e. those that are not strictly academic per se. ČKZ also fosters specific methodological and editorial collaboration between already established academics and emerging ones. Occasional guest editors allow ČKZ to develop further empirical research and deepen interdisciplinary approaches between the social, humanistic and natural sciences.
